Blue Bubba is the baby of Blue God and Bubba Kush, two very popular strains.
Blue God is a powerful Indica strain which was born in Canada.
It has a sweet and pleasant berry aroma as well as purple flecked leaves which are covered in a crystalline coating of resin.
This strain is most commonly used by those who have sleep disorders or as a painkiller.
Bubba Kush is also a hard core Indica although its origins have become a little muddled in the mists of time.
The structure of this plant is big and bulky and gives a distinctive full body buzz effect.
It is also a rather soporific strain which is often used by those with sleep problems.
The combination of these two strains creates a large plant with an even larger yield and a beautiful blue colouration.
Blue Bubba is sold in the form of regular seeds which are still the preferred method of growing for a wide variety of growers and breeders.
One of the primary reasons for this is that they know that the genetic material of the strain has not been tampered with.
Many still don't quite trust the genetically altered alternatives to maintain all of the best attributes of the plant.
For someone who has been growing the same strain for a long time that is quite a risk to take.
For breeders regular seeds are pretty much the only option.
Obviously feminised breeding exists but it is exceedingly difficult and should only be attempted by experienced growers.
Regular seeds are mixed gender and the crop will be roughly half male and half female, often there can be a few more females than males.
Breeders are then presented with a choice, they can carefully observe and test all of their plants in order to select the very best male and the top female to be the parent plants.
The parent plants will breed the next crop of seeds and it is important to ensure that only the best genetics are passed on.
Using regular seeds gives breeders a much higher level of control over their future crops quality and uniformity.
Blue Bubba can be grown indoors or outdoors which makes it accessible to many types of growers.
It will flower in around 8 – 9 weeks and is a medium – tall plant with a high yield.
