Night Owl Seeds - Pre 98 Episode 1 F4 (Autoflowering)

Pre 98 Episode 1 F4 Auto is the very first project of Bubba Kush Autos from Night Owl Seeds! The Bubba Kush project began in 2016 when Night Owl Seeds lived with Ronin Gardens. Back then, Night Owl Seeds obtained several clone-only cultivars in Colorado, and one of those was the notorious Bubba Kush! The Bubba Kush clone grows super short and dense with super dense buds that produce swollen calyxes & super dark, dank aromas that the Pre 98 cut became famous for over the years.

The cut of Bubba Kush proved to be a super special cut from the get-go, but the effects cemented her in Night Owl Seeds stables their long-term plans for breeding work. Night Owl Seeds was very familiar with the Auto Skywalker variety and thoroughly enjoyed all of its attributes, which led to them deciding to utilize it to make the auto-flowering foundation for the Bubba Kush project. The Auto Skywalker male was used to create the Wizard's Apprentice (Cheech Wizard from Bodhi Seeds x Auto Skywalker) and this Pre 98 Episode 1. The F1 edition had the most invariably Bubba-dominant plants, all of which grew short and stocky with large fan leaves & extremely dense nuggets coated in that stunning silvery resin that puts out the famous scents that Pre 98 Bubba is known for! The Skywalker OG also added some earthy OG notes from the Skywalker side of the lineage.

As they were all so visually similar & the aromas were so moreish, he pollinated multiple females and selected the next Generation after a flavour test. The flower with the most potent, sedating effects was then selected and used to breed the F2 Generation. At the F2 stage, the genetic variation began to explode, and most of the auto-flowering plants are impeccably intense mixtures of Bubba and Skywalker OG. Dank, earthy, herby and dark scents with vast dinner-plate leaves on a shortish structure plant. The fan & sugar leaves don't quite get coated in the same levels of frost that the other forms offer, but the flowers themselves were all encrusted with shimmering resin.

Night Owl Seeds then selected his two favourite Bubba dominant plants to move forward with the F3 Generation. This was whittled down to one final pheno as it has more relaxing effects and a unique minty terp profile in addition to the traditional Bubba/ Skywalker flavours from previous generations. The F3 can take heavy feeding from early & also come out super dense whilst producing herbal, rubber & gaseous notes that all carried that unique minty note with them, but the coffee notes became weaker. As a result, Night Owl Seed felt wrong using the name 'bubba' in the name of the cross since these uniquely recognizable coffee scents were weaker & so Pre 98 Episode 1 was born. All other boxes for breeding were checked, from resin to effects to density to structure. Pre 98 Episode 1 F4 Auto by Night Owl Seeds are truly incredible plants, but Night Owl plans to keep searching and working on perfecting an Auto Bubba in the search for perfection. Night Owl has managed to retrieve the Pre 98 Bubba Kush clone only cut back and will begin work with the episode very soon to ensure that the old-school heavy coffee dank funk is maximised, hopefully dropping in 2024 or early 2025. Night Owl will be using the Pre 98 Episode 1 as the pollen Donor.
