When creating this strain, the breeders at RQS did their best to retain as much of BB #3’s legendary strength as possible. However, we wanted to improve upon the flavour profile of this cultivar to give auto-growers a truly delicious and rich smoking experience. We managed to do this by first crossing Ghost OG with Strawberry Diesel. This secured a fabulous aroma and a high THC content, but the strain still needed autoflowering genetics. Auto Ghost OG turned out to be just the right match with its good potency and short flowering time. The result is an autoflowering, sativa-leaning hybrid (65% sativa, 30% indica, 5% ruderalis) with only a hint of ruderalis. HulkBerry Automatic is a remarkably easy-to-grow strain suitable for beginners and the experienced. Indeed, it brings a whole lot of great qualities to the grow-op—indoors and out. Let’s start with its height, which rarely exceeds 1m. With this convenient size, it can essentially fit anywhere; great for a spatially limited indoor grow, and great for clandestine operations outdoors. Because of this, HulkBerry Automatic makes a good guerrilla grow candidate, and it takes well to warm, sunny balconies and terraces too. If you happen to grow in a colder climate, such as the UK, a greenhouse can be optimal to maximise your results. Due to the autoflowering nature of this strain, it will race through just 3–4 weeks of veg before delivering a big haul of buds only a few weeks later. Time your grows right, and you can enjoy multiple harvests in a single growing season—something you can’t really do with photoperiod cannabis.
